TRAN6300 - TRAN 6300: CDL Simulator - CDL Shifting Program, Affiliate Trainer
Course Description
The Simulated CDL shifter program trains students in the skills necessary to safely and properly operate a truck clutch and shift transmission system. Students will learn to double clutch, properly upshift, downshift, and transition sequentially through multiple gears. The simulation truck shifting training program is designed to help drivers acquire and improve skills so they can perform their work more safely and efficiently. The truck simulator allows learners to experience the consequences of their driving decisions and actions across a wide range of road, weather, and traffic conditions without forcing them to pay the penalties of real-world mistakes.Course Outline
