Course Description

Massage Therapy is a personal health service utilizing soft-tissue manipulations to treat pain, improve range of motion, reduce stress, and promote relaxation. All courses are conducted in-person with various assessment activities. This program meets Hawaii Board of Massage and Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx) for state licensure and national certification.

Course Outline

This is Module Three of the Massage Therapy Program and consist of courses in Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Thai Massage, Massage Clinical Internship 1 and 2. This is the last module of the program and is restricted to continuing Massage Therapy program students.

Prerequisites

No prerequisites, but it is highly recommended that students have had some college level coursework completed since all massage coursework will be conducted with college level expectations with numerous written and practical exams and assignments
