Course Description

Covers the basic ethical hacking techniques also known as white hat hacking. Stresses the moral and legal issues about hacking and how these techniques can be used to defend against attacks as well as to perform authorized system security evaluation testing.

Enrollment in this course through EDvance is a non-credit option, however course is available for credit. In order to receive college credit, participants must successfully complete course with a "C" or better.

 

Prerequisites

Successful completion of Introduction to Networking (ITS 124) and Introduction to Computer Security (ITS 221) or equivalent experience.
