Course Description

Provides the student with the knowledge and skills to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, install, operate, and configure basic network infrastructure, as well as to describe networking technologies, basic design principles, and adhere to wiring standards and use testing tools. Also introduces the student to network security concepts.

Enrollment in this course through EDvance is a non-credit option, however course is available for credit. In order to receive college credit, participants must successfully complete course with a "C" or better.

Prerequisites

Successful completion of Digital Tools for Information World (ICS 101) and Computer Hardware Support (ITS 144) or equivalent experience.
