Course Description

Students will attend the 2023 Landscape Industry Green Conference at the Hawaii Convention Center for industry professional upskillng. 3 required sessions: Above the Street and Below the Ground: Hawaii's Tree Root Longitudinal Study with Dr. Andrew Kaufman, Research Updates on Several Important Landscape Pests in Hawaii with Dr. Zhiqiang Chen, and The Beneficial Effects of Soluble Silicon Fertilizer as an Integrated Pest Management Tool with Dr. Joanna Bloese.

Course Outline

Prerequisites

Must be employed in the landscape industry and be a LICH member to attend the conference. Non-members may apply to be approved for the conference/ training funding and additional membership sponsorship.
