Course Description

Summer time is a great time for eating light. Lean meats, light and fresh greens, fruits, and tangy dressings will help to you stay full and fit. When the heat is on and it’s beach weather, you tend to want to reach for things that won’t weigh you down. Our summer menu will include: a crispy chicken wrap, steak salad with fresh herbs, a chicken and mango salad with ginger orange dressing and she’ll show you how to make a peach blueberry coconut crumble. 

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and cooking techniques to produce home style dishes.
