Course Description

Summertime is the right time for frozen desserts. From luscious ice cream to refreshing sorbets, frozen treats make everyone smile. This summer, Chef Brown will teach you how to make a traditional custard-based ice cream, a “non-cooked” ice cream, traditional gelato and a fruit sorbet. And yes, if you wish to make them at home, you’ll need to buy an ice cream maker. Indulge yourself.

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and cooking techniques to produce home style dishes.
