Course Description

Are you wading through privacy legislation, regulation and best practices? Are you wondering what policies are essential for compliance and how to create that culture of privacy in your organization? This workshop will cover the basics in privacy, highlighting key principles and how these apply to your organization and practice. Examples of relevant policies, tools and other resources will be made available. Participants will be allowed to share situations from their workplace for input on potential solutions. 
This workshop will cover Embedding Relevant Content into Healthcare Curricula, Usability & Safety of Health Information Technology and Essentials of Privacy Policies. 
This workshop will cover Navigating Potential Landmines, Usability & Safety of Health Information Technology and Essentials of Privacy Policies
