Course Description

This class will explore and develop the practice of planning, designing, and painting a community mural on the campus of UH Maui. Students will work as a collaborative team on the project.

Learner Outcomes

1. Understand the historical and cultural perspectives of public art. 2. Analyze the significance and implications of public art. 3. Develop organizational and collaborative skills in planning a work of public art. 4. Develop production skills in the creation of a work of public art. 5. Reflect on the analytical and creative process of a work of public art.
