Course Description

A proud graduate of KCC’s pastry arts program, Chef Tiffanie Masutani, spent time working as a pastry chef at Diamond Head Grill and The Alley restaurant. In recent years, she has teamed up with KCC to teach professional baking classes as well as healthy cooking for kids classes.

Course Outline

Chef Tiffanie has put together some great recipes that are perfect for kids and parents to do together. As a baker and a young mom, she knows that it's important to do recipes that are fun, tasty, and engaging for kids to do hands on with their parents. For this class, Chef Tiffanie will guide you through several fun recipes, including cranberry zucchini muffins with oatmeal streusel, glazed orange carrot scones, and flaky biscuits.  

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and cooking techniques to produce home style dishes.
