Course Description

A proud graduate of KCC’s pastry arts program, Chef Tiffanie Masutani, spent time working as a pastry chef at Diamond Head Grill and The Alley restaurant. In recent years, she has teamed up with KCC to teach professional baking classes as well as healthy cooking for kids classes.

Course Outline

Weekends are a great time to make breakfast with your kids. And making breakfast together is a great way to teach your kids many of the basics rules and techniques of the kitchen. In this class, Chef Tiffanie will teach you and your kid how to make pancakes with banana foster sauce, a fresh strawberry sauce, omelets with fresh tomato salsa, and that breakfast class, with a twist, “toad in the hole”

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and cooking techniques to produce home style dishes.
