Course Description

Non-verbal communication from body language to vocal tone can have a powerful impact in our daily lives. Body language can speak louder than words we use. Facial expressions, posture and our vocal tone can help to emphasize our thoughts and feelings. Cultural differences play a role in the perception and interpretation of non-verbal communication. In addition, learn about how our use of space and time can create favorable or unfavorable impressions for others.

Learner Outcomes

At the completion of training, the participants will be able to:

  1. Understand how the meaning of body language is different for other cultures whether ethnic regional or generational.
  2. Identify non-verbal factors that impact behavior, communication styles and business operations.
  3. Use appropriate non-verbal when communicating with others in different situations.
  4. Use appropriate vocal skills when communicating with others in different situations.
