TRAD6005 - Residential & Commercial Painting Techniques

Course Description

Introduces materials and review techniques for residential and commercial painting applications. Participants gain hands-on experience and practice painting techniques. Course counts towards the Building Maintenance Certificate of Professional Development. Other courses required to earn the credential.

This course is approved for the ETF tuition assistance program.

To apply for the 50% Employment Training Fund discount:

1. Complete the application form:

2. Fax the completed form(s) to Workforce Development Maui Office at 808-984-2090 OR scan and email it to:

3. The Workforce Development office will review the application form(s), and they will then send their approval to UHMC. You must apply at least 10 days in advance of the course.

4. Once approved, UHMC will contact the applicant/company for the 50% balance due in advance of the course. After payment is received, the applicant is registered in the course. The employment training fund pays the 50% remaining balance after successful completion of the course. If the applicant does not attend or successfully complete the course, the employer will be invoiced for the 50% balance.
