Course Description

The two-hour Introductory Motorcycle Experience is designed as a first-touch experience with a motorcycle, not designed to teach actual riding skills. With a focus on reviewing a motorcycle's primary parts and controls, this experience helps you determine whether motorcycling is a good personal choice. You are given the option to manipulate the controls while astride a motorcycle. A self-assessment component ensures you are of aware of the risks and requirements for being a good, safe and responsible rider.

Prerequisites

Must be able to ride a bicycle.

Participants must wear personal protective gear including a helmet designed to meet DOT standards, eye protection, full-fingered gloves, over-the-ankle footwear, long-sleeved shirt or jacket and long pants.  If you wish to borrow a helmet during this course, you must bring a bandana to wear underneath the helmet.
