Course Description

You love you some andagi, but don’t want to wait for the annual Okinawan Festival? Well, you know who makes the best andagi fit for any festivities? Chef Grant. He’s got a never fail recipe that so good and versatile, you might be filling up on these lovely balls of fried dough every weekend. Chef Grant will teach you the recipe and techniques to make plain andagi, chocolate and matcha (green tea) andagi, and for the adventurous…andagi battered bananas. The possibilities stagger the imagination.

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and cooking techniques to produce home style healthy dishes.

Chef Grant continues with his popular cooking fundamentals series. Every class begins with a lecture, followed by a cooking demonstration and then hands-on cooking! Chef Sato enjoys preparing simple, flavorful food utilizing locally grown products with an emphasis on Asian/Pacific flavor, local tastes and classic techniques.
