Course Description

(This is a repeat course//program used for other HIC clients)

The University of Hawai`I Kapi`olani Community College will provide a unique one day Intensive Hawaiian Culture Program for the participants of Hawai`I Innovative Knowledge Institute (HIKI); This short-term customized program prepared and coordinated by Paul S. Honda International Center will focus on Hawaiian culture and education for sustainable Development (ESD).

2).  Hawaiian Culture Workshop

Student Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the program, the students will be able to:

1).  Describe Hawaiian values and hospitality

2).  Develop new perspectives on their own values and beliefs with experiencing, reflecting and thinking critically,

3).  Describe the geography, demographics and culture of Hawai`i
