Course Description
What you don’t know about money can hurt you. It is also key towards rebuilding your personal and professional loves after graduation. Financial literacy is a skill that is essential to living and thriving in the modern world. Financial illiteracy can limit career and economic opportunities, lead to high debt levels and unstable financial futures.
To meet the 21st century needs of students, your education must provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to build and/or rebuild financially stable lives that will lead towards better mental and physical health. It is a core pillar of a virtuous cycle. Our Financial Literacy for the 21st Century is a month-long program of highly relevant lessons in major aspects of personal finance and money management predicated on the theme of Earn-Build-Protect.
The lessons include an exploration of employment and income, employee benefits, education’s link to income, an understanding of wealth vs. income, saving, budgeting, credit and credit cards, insurance, basic investing and more.

With the successful completion of this course, the student has demonstrated the ability to :
