Course Description

Provides a hands-on approach to computerized accounting using QuickBooks. Applies previously acquired accounting skills and knowledge in a computerized environment. Emphasis will be placed on the application of QuickBooks to the accounting cycle.

Enrollment in this course through EDvance is a non-credit option, however course is available for credit. In order to receive college credit, participants must successfully complete course with a "C" or better.

Prerequisites

1. Successful completion of Principles of Accounting I (ACC 124) or Intro to Financial Accounting (ACC 201) or equivalent experience.

2. Students must be computer literate and have experience working on a computer.
