TRAD8100 - Security Guard Training
Course Description
Prior to employment as a guard, it is a state mandate to meet certain training requirements. These training requirements include successful completion of an initial eight hour classroom instruction preceding the first day of employment and four hours of classroom training annually. In accordance with HRS Chapter 463-10.5, persons who act in a guard capacity (guards, agents, operatives, and assistants) and are employed by private businesses, guard agencies, or government agencies, must register with the Board of Private Detectives and Guards. Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of this 8-hour comprehensive training program to meet the state security guard training requirements.
