Course Description

Ocean Safety Lifeguards are provided minimal medical training yet are often faced with serious life-threatening emergencies. This training will increase their ability to provide life-saving care. Students will receive clinical experiences on the ambulance and in the hospital, coupled with the application of new knowledge and skills providing optimal work-based learning experience.

Prerequisites

Students must be admitted at Kapi'olani Community College in the Ocean Safety EMT Program
