Course Description

Covers the basic ethical hacking techniques also known as white hat hacking. Stresses the moral and legal issues about hacking and how these techniques can be used to defend against attacks as well as to perform authorized system security evaluation testing.

Notes

Enrollment in this course through EDvance is a non-credit option, however, course is available for credit. In order to receive college credit, participants must inform instructor at the beginning of the course and successfully complete course with a "C" or better.

Due to a limited number of non-credit seats available and enrollment priority given to traditional credit students, if course becomes over-enrolled, you may have to be removed from the course and refunded.

For in-person or hybrid class sections, students will need to submit and clear all necessary health clearances with Med+Proctor.
