Course Description
Learn the basics of Taiko drumming in a fun and creative way, including Japanese terminology and etiquette specific to Taiko, and simple practice pieces.Learner Outcomes
You will learn the following:
- Basics of Taiko musicality
- Listening skills
- Terminology and etiquette specific to Taiko
- Self-discipline practice
- Large motor skills
- Respect

For Youth (Ages 6-11)
No class on November 24, 2024, Required supplies: Drumsticks (available for purchase on 1st day of class) Youth Drumsticks: $28, $30, $35 (size and wood variation). Ear Plugs: $3 (optional)
