Course Description

Participate in an advising program for Law and Public Safety college and career pathways guided by a Good Jobs Hawaii navigator. Learn about in-demand occupation and training opportunities to pursue a career in the law and public safety field. Your dedicated navigator will also share potential educational funding programs such as WIOA and other grants to support pathway costs and make referrals for wrap-around services.

Current in-demand career opportunities include Interpreting and Administration of Justice pathways.

Learner Outcomes

Participants will explore Law and Public Safety career pathways and gain knowledge, skills, and preparation necessary to pursue an in-demand careers.

Notes

Participants will join info sessions, advising interviews and service referral meetings to support their pathway exploration and advancement.

Prerequisites

Complete an application as a current resident of Hawaii, minimum 16 years of age and U.S. citizen, permanent resident or COFA status.
