Course Description

This Esthetician course provides comprehensive training in the art and science of skincare and beauty treatments. The curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to excel as licensed estheticians in various professional settings such as salons, spas, medical offices, and as independent practitioners.

Students will learn key Essential Esthetic Techniques; Facials, Waxing and Hair Removal, Body Treatments, Makeup Application, Anatomy and Physiology of the Skin. Become proficient in Product Knowledge understanding the ingredients, benefits, and contraindications of various skincare and cosmetic products. Learning and maintaining a clean and safe work environment, proper sterilization and disinfection procedures. Future estheticians will work on developing professional communication skills, building client relationships, and providing excellent customer service. All while adhering to ethical practices, understanding relevant regulations, and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Learner Outcomes

Upon finishing the necessary 600 hours, esthetician students will have gained the expertise in providing professional Skincare and Body treatments. They will have developed the technical confidence required while adhering to Hawaii State safety protocols. Graduates will leave with the knowledge essential to successfully pass the Hawaii State Board of Cosmetology Esthetician Exam, paving the way for their career in the beauty industry.
