Course Description

Participants in this class will learn how to make soups for all occasions, from chilled cold soups for summer and hot and comforting soups for rainy and winter days.

Menu Includes:

  • Andalusian Gazpacho, refreshing chilled vegetable soup
  • Traditional French Onion soup
  • Swiss Barley soup, hearty barley soup with vegetables and cured meat for cold days
  • Simple Corn Chowder, quick and easy but very satisfying

Section Notes

What to Bring:

  • All students will be required to wear long pants, covered shoes, and a shirt that covers your shoulders. Optionally, you can bring an apron to wear if you have one.
  • All knives and tools will be provided, however, you can bring your own knives to work with if you like.
  • All supplies are provided in this class, and "lunch" will be made from what is produced in class.
  • We recommend all students bring a filled water bottle as our retail operation that sells beverages will be closed.
