Course Description

This class is for those who have been playing pickleball, understand the rules and scoring, and how to execute the basic shots. This class will focus on improving your game from casual play to strategic consistency. 

Learner Outcomes

 

You will be able to:

1. Understand the soft game of dinking from just getting the ball over the net, to purposely placing the ball to move opponents and create openings. 

2. Control your volley, block hard drives or smashes, and direct where to place the ball.

3. Adapt the depth of your shot (drops or lobs) based on opponents' court position. 

4. Execute consistent and strategic placement of serves and returns.

5. Effectively communicate with your partner, able to cover gaps and shift your placement based on where your partner is on the court.  

Prerequisites

 You may bring your own paddle.  However, a paddle maybe provided if you do not have one.
