Course Description

Transform your food idea into a sellable product. This course will guide you through developing a food prototype, finding your first customers, and setting achievable business goals. Key topics include an introduction to food entrepreneurship, developing your business idea, creating a food prototype, and laying the foundation for future growth.

This is an online, self-paced course. This course includes an optional in-person tour of the MFIC commercial kitchen at Maui College to start thinking about the equipment needed for producing at scale. This course also includes 5 hours of MFIC kitchen facility time.
