Course Description

It's known by many names but whether you are just starting to explore Tai Chi, Qigong, or Tai Qi, or have been practicing for years, this course has no requirements nor necessary equipment. All are welcome. As people all over the world have discovered, Tai Chi is a powerful and natural way to address health conditions, stimulate inner healing, and live a happy, healthy life. Sifu Dan Takamura and his Instructors will be leading our Martial Arts classes. We offer students 90-minute sessions (on Wednesdays and Saturdays starting 2024). Classes will be held in LAU226 and/or outdoors on our beautiful UHMC Quad. Please bring water and a towel if necessary, shoes and comfortable clothes are recommended.
