OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification
This two-day training provides essential instruction in construction jobsite safety and health, led by an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer. Participants will receive comprehensive coverage of critical topics such as fall protection, personal protective equipment (PPE), electrical safety, and hazard recognition. Upon successful completion, students will earn the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification, a nationally recognized credential that is required or strongly preferred on most construction sites across Hawaii and the U.S. mainland. This certification enhances employability and demonstrates jobsite readiness for individuals pursuing careers in the construction trades. The course will be held over two consecutive mornings. Free for students currently enrolled in construction-related programs (CARP, EIMT, RAC, SMPT, WELD) at Honolulu Community College.
