Course Description

The Fashion Studio at UH Maui College is a shared studio workspace for small business entrepreneurs, aspiring designers, and sewing enthusiasts. The Fashion Studio is designed to build technical skills, confidence, and community while contributing to the growth of Maui’s creative economy.

Our studio workspace is equipped with domestic machines and sergers, industrial straight lock and specialty sewing machines, large cutting tables and cutting tools, professional steam irons and mannequins and is available to students and community members through paid studio access.

Membership options include a weekly pass or a monthly membership. During open studio hours, the space is staffed by an instructor who provides technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and informal mentorship.
