TRAN6340 - Commercial Motor Vehicle Training Series CDL B and S/P Endorsements

Course Description

Prepares students for the State of Hawaii Commercial Driver Class B, as well as S (School Bus) and/or P (Passenger Vehicle) endorsements license tests. The Commercial Driver’s License training consists of the ability to confirm knowledge and skill sets required to demonstrate written or physical comprehension needed to obtain a State of Hawaii commercial driver’s license through multiple facets of quizzes, simulator, course and behind the wheel functions.

Strong emphasis is placed on the Commercial Driving Manual for the respective license classes.  Vehicle Inspection Parking Skills and Safe Operation in preparation for the tests are required to obtain your CDL License and/or higher.  The participant will have the option to select type and license and endorsements (if desired) at the start of the program.

Learner Outcomes

Students should be able to pass the State of Hawaii Commercial Driver Class B as well as P (Passenger Vehicle) and S (School Bus) endorsement license tests.

Students should be able to demonstrate proficiency in every required area with the following scores to obtain his/her CMVL for the State of Hawaii:

1. FMCSA Approved Bumper2Bumper CDL Curriculum, 80%, or better
2. Pre-trip inspection, 95%, or better
3. Driving Course, 100%
4. Behind the Wheel, 95%, or better
5. Safe Professionalism
