Course Description

The answer to: How do you get bees? Of course you could buy a hive @ about $200+ if you can find someone selling. This class will look at the factors affecting honey bees in the spring-summer months of the year and what will cause a hive to swarm. How to collect a swarm will be covered as well as attracting swarms. If Time permits situation allows we will collect swarm, service swarm traps, or transfer swarm to hive. Students should have had ABC's of Beekeeping A, B and C or AG162 Introductory Beekeeping.
