Course Description

Ready to start up your holiday baking?  We'll do some quick and fail safe baking recipes that will have your guests wanting more!  Gingerbread Cake, Pumpkin Butter Mochi, and Cranberry Bars to kick off the Fall baking!  

Learner Outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to prepare simple holiday baked goods and will make Gingerbread Cake, Pumpkin Butter Mochi, and Cranberry Bars.  Students will learn proper cooking techniques for each dish.  Some of the techniques learned would include proper measuring and mixing of ingredients for the best holiday treats.  With baking and preparation tips, students will be able to produce dishes in a more efficient and safe manner.

Notes

As a safety precaution, participants in all culinary classes are required to wear covered, non-slip shoes (e.g. athletic shoes) and comfortable long pants. Aprons or any other personal items may also be brought to class. The college will not be held responsible if such items are lost or stolen.
