Course Description

One of the practices that set apart professionals who get results from those who don’t is the ability to follow up with others to ensure work is completed and to meet their own deadlines. Tactfully follow up with others on deadlines and set personal deadlines with integrity and re-negotiate when necessary.

Learner Outcomes

The participant will: 1) Learn how and when to set a deadline for others.

2) Learn how to tactfully follow up with others on deadlines.

3) Learn how to set personal deadlines with integrity and how to re-negotiate when necessary. These skills will be assessed during the class through hands-on activities, and by the student in their daily work life.
