Course Description

Chef Grant Sato will teach you how to make the popular Ginger Chicken, Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs, and Hot and Sour Soup. 

Learner Outcomes

After the completion, students will be able to:

  • Create new local favorites such as Ginger Chicken, Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs, and Hot and Sour Soup
  • Identify tools and equipment and proper food handling


As a safety precaution, participants in all culinary classes are required to wear covered, non-slip shoes (e.g., athletic shoes) and comfortable long pants. Aprons or any other personal items may also be brought to class. The college will not be held responsible if such items are lost or stolen.
