Course Description

Here are some new and exciting dishes from Chef Grant Sato!  Learn to make Tord Man Plaa (fishcake fritters on sugar cane stalk), Phad Phed Tua Sai Muu (Pork and Long bean red curry) and Mee Krob (Crispy rice vermicelli noodle). 

Learner Outcomes

After completion, students will be able to:

  • Create these new Vietnamese dishes:  Mee Krob, Tord Man Plaa, and Phad Phed Tua Sai Muu
  • Identify tools and equipment and proper food handling

Notes

As a safety precaution, participants in all culinary classes are required to wear covered, non-slip shoes (e.g.athletic shoes) and comfortable long pants. Aprons or any other personal items may also be brought to class. The college will not be held responsible if such items are lost or stolen.
