Course Description
Chef Rob Vasquez of Mama's Boys Food: The people who call the Philippines home come from 18 regions and 81 provinces across 7,107 islands. This diversity is reflected in language, culture, and especially in food. There are some quintessential Filipino dishes that have emerged in mainstream America. You will learn how to cook Pork Bicol Express, Chicken Adobo, and Pancit Canton.Learner Outcomes
Upon completion, students will be able to:
- Create these Filipino dishes: Pork tenderloin Bicol Express, Chicken Adobo, and Pancit Canton
- Identify cooking tools and proper food preparation and handling techniques

Classroom Safety:
As a safety precaution, participants in all culinary classes are required to wear covered, non-slip shoes (e.g., athletic shoes) and comfortable long pants. Aprons or any other personal items may also be brought to class. The college will not be held responsible if such items are lost or stolen.
