CULN3093 - Kids Ages 10-12 Mini Bake Off
Course Description
This course is a two-day course with Chef Tiffanie Masutani. The maximum enrollment is 14 students and designed for kids from 10-12 years old. The focus will be on quick breads, yeast breads, and cake. The class will be held on the main Kapi`olani Community College campus. By the end of the course students will be able to:
- Create quick breads, yeast breads, and cake.
- Identify tools and equipment and proper baking techniques.
Notes
Classroom Safety:
As a safety precaution, participants in all culinary classes are required to wear covered, non-slip shoes (e.g. athletic shoes) and comfortable long pants. Aprons or any other personal items may also be brought to class. The college will not be held responsible if such items are lost or stolen.
