Course Description

This course is for anyone new to the traditional film process. Learn the fundamentals of camera operation, composition, and darkroom developing, and come away with some finished prints! Activities will include learning how to compose a photo, taking photographs using 35mm black & white film, going on a photo walk for shooting images, processing film, and printing your photographs in the darkroom.
No prior photo experience is necessary.

Lab fee covers all the basic course materials needed; additional supplies may be purchased independently.  All chemistry and film processing equipment will be provided.

You will need an Analog SLR 35mm Camera (or medium format film camera). Cameras will be made available for check out from the WCC library upon registration or please bring your own if you have it.
