Course Description

This 6-week, intensive, hands-on program serves as a direct pathway to becoming an Acute Care Nurses Aide via the Adventist Health Castle (AHCS) Acute Care Program. Training will start with 4 weeks of classroom instruction with a blended approach to practice the clinical skills (40 hours/week). Upon successful completion, students will participate in a paid 2-week clinical orientation (40 hours/week) at AHCS. After completing the course and clinical hours, students receive a certificate of Professional Development from Windward Community College and are invited to apply to Adventist Health Castle Nurse's Aide position.

Participants must pass AHCS' screening requirements, including an interview.
