Course Description

This program was developed to help prepare students for positions in a variety of modern kitchen settings at hotels, resorts, as well as airports and cafeterias at major universities. Courses part of this program are designed to enhance knowledge and understanding with practical skills. Assessments includes both knowledge and skills assessment exams. Upon successful completion of all coursework, knowledge and practical exams, students will be provided an opportunity to take the ServSafe Certified Food Handler Certification.

Must be approved by program coordinator. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
