Course Description
Chef Rob Vasquez returns to teach you his version of Kare Kare (thick stew in peanut sauce), Chicken Tinaloa (chick soup with chayote or green papaya), and Lechon Kawali (deep fried pork belly with a vinegar-based sauce or relish).Learner Outcomes
Students will be able to demonstrate:
- How to prepare Kare Kare (thick stew in peanut sauce)
- How to prepare Chicken Tinaloa (chicken soup with chayote or green papaya), and
- How to prepare Lechon Kawali (deep fried pork belly with vinegar-based sauce or relish)
Notes
Classroom Safety:
As a safety precaution, participants in all culinary classes are required to wear covered, non-slip shoes (e.g., athletic shoes) and comfortable long pants. Aprons or any other personal items may also be brought to class. The college will not be held responsible if such items are lost or stolen.
