Want to extend the shelf life of your fruits and vegetables?

Join us for an intensive 2-day workshop on Dehydration conducted by the Hawaii Master Food Preservers’ Ken Love and Jane Tai.  Working solely with our locally grown tropical produce, learn how to create food safe, shelf stable value-added dehydrated goods. The workshop will dive into the science, the techniques and the art of dehydration through hands-on execution.  You must attend both days: Day 1 will be instruction and production; Day 2 will be water activity measurements and cost of production.

Students must possess current and valid food handlers card/certification.  Kitchen classroom rules are: no open toed shoes, no shorts, long hair tied back and practice good personal hygiene.
