S.T.A.B.L.E. is a neonatal education program designed to enhance post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization care for sick infants. Rooted in a mnemonic for optimal learning, S.T.A.B.L.E. encompasses six critical assessment and care modules: Sugar and Safe Care, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, and Emotional Support. Additionally, a seventh module, Quality Improvement, underscores the professional responsibility of improving and evaluating care for sick infants. This course also includes modules focused on cardiac care and physical assessment of the newborn.
