Course Description

Have you always wanted to learn what it takes to directo stage productions? Now is your chance! Join this course! The course will cover script analysis, casting, set design basics, eliciting convincing acting, proper stage enunciation, and developing emotional range of performers.

Learner Outcomes

At the end of the course, participants whould be able to analyze a script and identify its main challenges; cast a show with an eye toward aligning actors with appropriate roles; work with a set designer so that the set is appropriate to the action of the entire show; work with actors on improving their stage diction, vocal projection, clarity of vocal delivery; elicit a wide range of emotions in the actors.
