Course Description

It is important to write English with correct grammar in the business environment. In this workshop, you will learn how to identify inappropriate grammatical usages as well as learn to effectively use correct grammar in English.

Course Outline

  • Marrying subjects and verbs
  • Four ways to doctor run-on sentences
  • Shifty business (pronoun shift, shift in verb tense, etc.)
  • Amateur pronoun reference
  • Misplaced and dangling modifiers

Learner Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this module, the participant will be able to:

  • Understand and identify incorrect usage of English grammar
  • Demonstrate correct usage of English grammar
