Course Description

In this course, students will learn the foundations and fundamentals of using Abelton, one of the most popular music creation software programs for live performance and studio recording. We will learn to use MIDI, track audio, arrange and perform views, record, edit, and use digital effects.

Students should have an Abelton account (https://www.ableton.com/en/) and bring their personal laptop (Mac or PC) for best results.

Instructor Bio: Jaya Reed is an M.C., D.J., producer, mixing engineer, and songwriter with over 20 years of professional experience. He is originally from Los Angeles and has a degree from California State University, Northridge. He is passionate about music and sharing the creative process.
