Course Description

Fortuna Arai is a local personal chef with over 20 years experience, who specializes in good cooking for clients who want to eat good, hearty and healthy food. 

Course Outline

Fortuna has spent many years as a private chef and something her clients always want are good soups and stews. You can enjoy them as main or side dishes, stretch them out with some starches on the side, and even freeze them and have them ready to go for a good meal in minutes during the week. Fortuna will show you how to make an andouille and chicken gumbopizza soup (you read that right), and a delicious chicken and white bean chili.

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and cooking techniques to produce home style dishes.
