Course Description

A proud graduate of KCC’s pastry arts program, Chef Tiffanie Masutani, spent time working as a pastry chef at Diamond Head Grill and The Alley restaurant. In recent years, she has teamed up with KCC to teach professional baking classes as well as healthy cooking for kids classes.

Course Outline

Good eating habits start early. It’s important to get’em while they’re young. But these recipes are so good, parents might crave them more! This class will focus on healthy snacks and the basic knife skills kids need to prepare them. Then, we’ll make terrific dips to enjoy them with. Chef Tiffanie will teach you all how to make rainbow fruit kebabs with a tangy dip, cheesy kale chips, veggie sticks and dips, and if there’s enough time, a delicious green smoothie

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and cooking techniques to produce home style dishes.
