Course Description

A proud graduate of KCC’s pastry arts program, Chef Tiffanie Masutani, spent time working as a pastry chef at Diamond Head Grill and The Alley restaurant. In recent years, she has teamed up with KCC to teach professional baking classes as well as healthy cooking for kids classes.

Course Outline

The parent and kid classic: Cookie Sunday. Probably everyone remembers making cookies with their parents or kupuna. It’s a wonderful thing to do and fun for everyone. Chef Tiffanie will teach you how to do fun and creative things with sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies, including decorating and icing techniques. Come and have fun with your kid, then take your new skills home to share with family and friends!

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn to interpret recipes and use standard kitchen tools and cooking techniques to produce home style dishes
